This photographic work is part of a broader exploration of trace, and more specifically, the trace of absence.

Within this enclosed space, where people have nonetheless passed through, I sought out the echoes of abandonment and silent signs of a presence.
The visible damage is not merely a mark of violence or disuse; it also creates a formal tension.

A broken door or a bricked-up window becomes an almost sculptural visual form.

These wounds hold a kind of accidental beauty.
My work focuses on these stigmata, these scars that are, at once, architectural and profoundly human.
